Dr. Richard S Corbin is a 1989 graduate of Columbia University’s School of Dental and Oral Surgery. After graduating from dental school, he completed a general practice residency program at St. Luke ‘s-Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan. Dr. Corbin performs all phases of general dentistry with an emphasis on cosmetic dentistry.
He is currently a member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, and the New Jersey State Dental Association. Dr. Richard Corbin is certified in Laser-Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP), Invisalign, Oral Conscious Sedation, and Sleep Dentistry. Dr. Richard Corbin has created thousands of smile makeovers, enabling individuals to feel more confident about themselves.
Dr. Corbin graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1992. He then went on to complete advanced training in full-mouth reconstructive and prosthetic dentistry at New York University Dental School in 1999. Most recently, world-renowned doctor Arun Garg personally chose Dr. Bruce Corbin to join the limited faculty of highly specialized implant doctors.
He holds certifications in Pinhole Gum Rejuvenation and Laser-Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP), and is an Invisalign Preferred Provider. Dr. Corbin is recognized in the community for his humanitarian medical work and is an active member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Society, the Queens County Dental Society, the Nassau County Dental Society, and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Kevin Barajas holds a dental degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. During his postgraduate training at Mount Sinai Hospital, he expanded his skills in family and cosmetic dentistry with a particular focus on dental sleep medicine.
He now collaborates with sleep physicians and healthcare professionals to offer comprehensive care, which includes the use of Oral Appliance Therapy.
Dr. Barajas is an active member of professional organizations, including the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He is in the process of achieving fellowship status with the AGD.
Dr. Neil Engel is a 1979 graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he honed his skills and passion for providing exceptional dental care. Dr. Engel is deeply committed to staying at the forefront of dentistry, having completed over 900 hours of advanced training in implants, cosmetic dentistry, and periodontics.
He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Society, the Nassau County Dental Society, and the Glen Cove Study Club. Since 1981, Dr. Engel has been proudly serving the Oyster Bay-East Norwich community, practicing family dentistry with a focus on high-quality care, patient comfort, and creating a welcoming environment.
Dr. Steven Gutterson is a 1991 graduate of the University of Connecticut dental school. He stayed on for an extra year to complete an advanced education residency.
Dr. Gutterson has been in private practice for the past 33 years, gaining extensive experience in all facets of general dentistry. During that time, he became Invisalign certified and developed proficiency in digital scanning. Dr. Gutterson’s primary concern is helping the anxious patient feel comfortable and at ease.
